How do I make an online payment?
- Sign on to your account (this link will take you directly to your current fines).
- If you have multiple fines you can select which ones you want to pay, or pay all of them.
- Click the blue Continue to Payment button.
- You will be directed to Invoice Cloud where you can enter your credit card information and make your payment.
Payments will be immediately be reflected on your Aspen account page.
For questions regarding payment transactions, email us at libraryfiscal@edcgov.us, please include your library card number, first name and last name on the account.
Note, a service fee of 2.45% of the transaction amount, or a fixed minimum service fee of $3.95, whichever is higher, is applied per transaction when making an online payment.
Is there a service fee to make an online payment?
Yes, there is a small service fee when making an online credit card payment. The company that processes the electronic payments on our behalf will charge the following service fee per payment transaction:
- 2.45% of the transaction amount, or a fixed minimum service fee of $3.95, whichever is higher.
Payments made at the library, by cash or local check, will have no service fee.
I thought the library was fine free, why do I have a fee on my account?
The El Dorado County Library is fine free, as of December 4th, 2024, however fees for damaged items, lost items, and some other exceptions, still apply.

I have a question about the fees on my library account, who do I contact?
Please contact library staff by visiting or calling your local library, or you can email us at library@edcgov.us. Please have your library card number ready.
I've been sent to Revenue Recovery or an outside agency. Can I still pay my fees online?
If you've been sent to Revenue Recovery, or an outside agency, please contact Revenue Recovery by calling (530) 621-5780 before you make an online payment. Payments may need to be made directly to Revenue Recovery or the outside agency.
What is Invoice Cloud?
El Dorado County Library partners with a third-party vendor, called Invoice Cloud, to offer a convenient online payment solution for library fees.
If you don't want to use Invoice Cloud payments can still be made in person, by cash or local check, at the library.
